One push of the button retracts the bristles flush with the head, turning a handful of loose fur into a single, quick brush-off.
This slicker brush uses fine, angled stainless-steel bristles set into an ABS plastic handle, built to work through loose fur and light tangles during a normal grooming session. What sets it apart from a standard slicker brush is the retract mechanism: a button on the handle draws the bristles back flush with the brush head, so the fur collected during brushing lifts away in one motion instead of needing to be picked out by hand.
At around 150g, it's light enough for a longer grooming session without tiring the wrist, and it suits both dogs and cats across most coat types. There's no blade or cutting edge anywhere in the brush; it works entirely through the bristles pulling loose fur free, not by cutting anything.
It's built for regular use rather than occasional deep grooming, fitting into a weekly routine as easily as a daily one.
